Chaim starts by saying that he’s very sad not only because of all the damage that’s been done to Israel by Hamas, but also because of all the damage that’s been done to the people of Gaza by Hamas. He compares it to the damage that was done to Germany by the Nazis. He says that Hamas could end the war and allow the process of rebuilding Gaza to begin instantly if they would just release the hostages and surrender, which they should do since they have no hope of winning this war and never did.
He adds that he keeps his “shepherd’s staff” (which is what he calls his weapon) with him at all times because there needs to be someone on alert and ready to defend against terrorist attacks at a moment’s notice. He adds that this is not just his personal opinion, but rather official IDF policy, as soldiers are not even allowed to sleep on the bus, but must be alert and prepared to fire on a terrorist at all times. Chaim says this is a principle that all people everywhere in the world need to keep in mind.
On this note, he adds that US National Security advisor Mike Walz has warned that up to 75% of US flagged shipping has been redirected away from the Red Sea and the Suez Canal because of the threat from the Houthis in Yemen. This is costing the global economy enormous amounts of money every day, and that gets passed on to consumers in the form of inflated prices for goods and services.
Chaim then talks about how Hezbollah in Lebanon was also making plans to do similar things and their plans were disrupted by the massive explosion of stored amonium nitrate in the port of Beirut back in the summer of 2020.
He also talks about how the Palestinian Authority’s own statistics show that large numbers of Gazan civilians have already left the Strip and have no intention of ever returning. Chaim says that this is a sign of the end of the perpetual refugee status of these people, which has been enforced by various mechanisms, including at the UN. Even in the US there are people who support this agenda, and Chaim cites the example of the mayor of Paterson New Jersey, who declared his city to be the capital of Palestine in the US. Chaim says the people who do such things are just bringing a curse on themselves, and it’s better to bring a blessing on yourself.
In this context, he also talks about how US President Donald Trump has threatened American universities with a funding cutoff if they allow anti-Israel and anti-Semitic protests on their campuses. He also mentions the deal for Israel to buy new transport helicopters from US defense company Lockheed Martin,
Chaim then shifts to talking about the successful strikes that have taken out Hamas officials and money merchants. On this note, he mentions how much money is laundered through Hamas operations, and this is slowly being dismantled. In this context, he quotes Obadiah 1:18; “The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, and no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,” For the Lord has spoken.”
Chaim says that what this means to him is that Israel is being “bent like a bow” by God and we all need to be prepared to do our part in what comes next.
