(Day 555) Swords of Iron – “Houthis Attack Central Israel”

Chaim starts by talking about how millions of Israelis were trying to celebrate Passover on Sunday evening, they were forced to run for bomb shelters as ballistic missiles from Yemen were launched at us. They were intercepted, but this is just the latest in a series of such attacks that have been launched in an effort to force Israel to capitulate and disappear, which is not going to happen. The Houthis are getting hit hard by the Americans and previously by Israel, and they will soon be out of the picture.

Israel is also continuing to fight back in Gaza and there is now an offer which would see an end to the fighting in return for the hostages. The ball is in the court of the Gazans now, including Hamas but also including the other factions and even the ordinary people there who have some tough decisions to make about what kind of future they want.

The IDF is moving powerfully to take full control of the Morag Corridor, which cuts off Rafah from Khan Yunis and makes it harder for Hamas to re-arm and re-organize. It also helps IDF soldiers like Chaim to find and demolish Hamas’ remaining tunnel network.

Chaim also speaks about the talks between the Trump Administration and Iran, which reportedly include many elements, but not Iran’s nuclear disarmament, which Chaim says is the only way to resolve all the other outstanding issues. In a related story, it is being reported in Arab media portals that the internationally recognized government in Yemen is massing 80,000 troops to try to push the Houthis out of the major cities of Yemen to take back control of their country. Chaim warns that this scenario, where jihadists take control of a country and the legitimate government will have to fight them to take it back, can happen anywhere.

In this context, Chaim mentions that President Trump has warned Iran it only has 60 days to negotiate something that will be acceptable to the US and after that their time will be up. At the same time, the US Senate has confirmed Mike Huckabee to be the next US ambassador to Israel and French President Emmanuel Macron has said he wants to recognize a Palestinian State by June. There’s a lot on the move and Chaim advises everyone to read Exodus 15, where Pharoah and his army found out too late that it’s not just about political and military manuevering, it’s about God has a plan and that plan WILL move forward and He is ready to do some pretty big things to make sure it happens, and He’s not restrained by the laws of physics or anything else that ordinary mortal human beings have to contend with.
