ARC Israel Updates

Chaim begins by quoting the Book of Numbers 10:9; And when you go to war in your land against the enemy who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, so that you will be thought of by the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies.

He invites his viewers to send in a trumpet blast for the whole world to hear.

He also mentions that this would ordinarily be “Aliyah Day” when students in schools would celebrate Jewish people coming home to their ancestral homeland. But because schools in much of Israel are closed and life is being massively disrupted for hundreds of thousands of people, that holiday is not receiving much attention.

He adds that life is also being disrupted for residents of the Gaza Strip, with many of them taking Israel’s advice to move out of the conflict zone in the northern section of the Strip, but many more staying in the northern section with Hamas unapologetically using them as human shields.

Hezbollah has also been stepping up its attacks on Israel coming from Lebanon. But it could have been worse, as the Hamas terrorists had the ability to use chemical weapons against Israelis but that was prevented.

Chaim mentions the hostages that Hamas released, but also the hostages it still holds.

He then references Jeremiah 31:15-16; This is what the Lord says: “A voice is heard in Ramah, lamenting and bitter weeping. Rachel is weeping for her children; She refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.”

This is what the Lord says: “Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; For your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord, “And they will return from the land of the enemy.

He encourages his viewers to hold fast to that promise and keep praying for him and his comrades because they’re ready to do their part to fulfill the promises in these Scriptures.

(Day 596) Swords of Iron – “Trudging on as Shavuot (Pentecost) approaches”

Chaim starts by saying that he’s preparing to attend the funeral of Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, 26, two young Israelis diplomats who were murdered in Washington DC by a Pro-Palestinian terrorist last week. Israeli diplomatic missions around the world have increased their security and they are also flying their flags at half mast this week, even as some American officials including US Representative Ilan Omar of Minnesota coldly declined to comment on the attack.

(Day 595) Swords of Iron – “Devastated”

Chaim starts by talking about how difficult Israel’s situation remains, since there are ballistic missiles being fired at Israel by the Houthis in Yemen and ongoing fighting in Gaza and elsewhere.

(Day 594) Swords of Iron – “Brainwash”

Chaim starts out by saying how devastated he is at the news that Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, two staff members at the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, were murdered by a pro-Palestinian terrorist in Washington DC on Thursday. Yaron is the son of a well-known tour guide here in Israel, and his family is part of Israel’s Believer community.

(Day 593) Swords of Iron – “Hellbent on Israel’s Destruction”

Chaim starts out by saying that big things are in the offing as China has told all its citizens in Israel to leave the country immediately, as nuclear talks between the US and Iran appear to be breaking down. Israel is determined not to allow Iran to get nuclear weapons and Iran shows no signs of backing down. There is a real chance that full-scale war between Iran and Israel is about to break out.
