ARC Israel Updates

Chaim starts out by wishing Hamas a “crappy New Year” as he’s demonstrating the destruction of a terror tunnel inside a hotel. He then says he’s very sad to see Gaza, which could and should have been a beautiful and productive place, turned into a dilapidated slum by Hamas.

He says that he and his comrades are continuing to look for Israeli hostages but they’re also continuing to destroy terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, including tunnels.

Chaim adds that Prime Minister Netanyahu has declared that the war will continue until the threat from Hamas has been eliminated and he gives a personal endorsement of that pledge. He says that Netanyahu has thanked the US for its support, both political and material, and he has also asked the Israeli people to continue standing strong and brave in this time of trial.

Chaim then quotes Deuteronomy 33:29; Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places.”

He concludes by once again thanking his viewers for their support which is allowing the Aliyah Return Center to be a blessing to many in Israel.

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
