ARC Israel Updates

Chaim starts by wishing his viewers a happy new year before explaining that the Hebrew word for “pomegranate” is “rimon” which is what they call hand grenades in the IDF.

He also says that he and his comrades are continuing the battle against evil. He shows video he took in a kindergarten in Gaza where he and his unit found large quantities of weapons. He says this is typical of the kinds of things they’re finding and that it is something that MUST be confronted and stopped.

Chaim then quotes Deuteronomy 11:12, in which Israel is described as “a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.

He declares that 2024 will be a year of triumph, victory and peace. He thanks his viewers for doing their part to spread the word, sharing the videos on social media, giving to the work of the Aliyah Return Center, praying about the situation, and otherwise sharing the burden. He says it’s never easy to do the right thing, but it’s very satisfying and rewarding. He offers his hopes for 2024 to be a year full of good things, including an expansion of understanding of God’s plans and purposes for Israel.

He then gives a few insights into what he’s seeing on the battlefield, including the large ratio of terrorists to IDF soldiers being killed in action, even though he acknowledges with sadness that 17% of those IDF soldiers killed were hit by friendly fire. He also says that large numbers of terrorists are surrendering, removing themselves from the battlefield as well as providing valuable intelligence to the IDF.

He then quotes Amos 1:6-8, Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they took captive the whole captivity to deliver them up to Edom. But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, which shall devour its palaces. I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and the one who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn My hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,” Says the Lord God.

Chaim says that although the going is tough, and many families of fallen soldiers are in mourning, he and his comrades are determined to finish the job in Gaza, rescue the remaining hostages, restore security to Gaza border communities and remove the threat Hamas poses to Israel.

He also mentions that things are heating up on the northern border, but Hezbollah and its Iranian backers have been warned that if they continue to attack Israel and if those attacks intensify, they will suffer blows they’ve never even imagined in their worst nightmares. Chaim also mentions the anti-terror sweeps taking place in Judea and Samaria and the escalating battle against the Houthis, Iran’s proxy in Yemen.

He concludes by exhorting his viewers to stand for the truth and righteousness in 2024.

Update (Day 932) Swords of Iron-Lion’s Roar “Patience Is Key”

It’s been a quiet Shabbat, almost eerily quiet. Is it the calm before the storm?
Will missiles strike us again from Iran, the head of the octopus of terror?
Will talks happen? I’d love to hear in the comments what you think about brokering a deal.
Can there be a deal with Iran? Can the United States and Iran forge an agreement that ends this regime, their proxies, and the terror they’ve spread worldwide?

Update (Day 930) Swords of Iron-Lion’s Roar “The Squeeze”

It’s interesting to think that one wrong move this way or that way can cost your life. That’s the level of vigilance required when serving in the army, especially over a long period. You have to remember that the lives of your friends are in your hands. Be alert. Be awake. Be ready.

Update (Day 929) Swords of Iron-Lion’s Roar “Independence Day-And What’s Next”

Wow—over 3,000 years old and 78 years young. Israel, you’re looking miraculously beautiful. Just think of the number of miracles that have taken place over these 78 years. I could talk about them endlessly—the innovations, the rising GDP—and through it all, it’s been miraculous.
There’s still a journey ahead before peace is fully restored, but we will remain strong.
