ARC Israel Updates

Chaim starts by paying tribute to some of his fellow soldiers who have already fallen in the battles they’re fighting. He thanks his viewers for their prayers for his safety and the support they’ve sent which allowed the Aliyah Return Center to buy equipment soldiers need, such as Leatherman utility tools, thermal clothing and bulletproof vests.

Chaim then quotes Matthew 24:6-7; And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

He reminds his viewers, however, that “this isn’t a rumor anymore” because the wars are here. He says this war is serving to focus the world’s attention on Jerusalem and what God is doing in this city and this country.

He repeats his thanks for the support that viewers have sent which allow the ARC to partner with the Tiberius Municipality and many other public and private organizations and initiatives to help those in trouble during this time of crisis. This includes providing gear to soldiers but it also includes providing diapers and baby formula to single mothers who have been put on unpaid leave from their jobs because of the war. It includes families whose homes were destroyed by rockets and they lost everything, so they need the basic necessities of life.

He says that the ARC has changed and so has the entire country of Israel, which will never be the same again after this crisis, in good ways and some difficult ways.

He reminds his viewers that 9 November is the anniversary of the “Kristallnacht” pogrom in Germany, which saw hundreds of Jewish homes and businesses in Germany vandalized and dozens of Jewish people murdered. Chaim says that same spirit of anti-Semitic hatred and violence is moving in the earth today and believers need to stand against that spirit.

He quotes Genesis 12:3; in which God tells Abraham “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

He says it warms his heart to see the thousands of Gazans who are able to flee the fighting in northern Gaza and go to places of relative safety in southern Gaza. He says that many of them are thanking the IDF troops they encounter for liberating them from Hamas.

He repeats his thanks for all the prayers and support ARC has gotten as it seeks to be a blessing to those in need, including soldiers but also including civilians who are in harms way. He urges viewers to share what they’ve seen in the video with others who are also concerned about what’s going on and assures them that the righteous will succeed and that the Lord’s plan for all the families of the earth to be blessed through Israel will also succeed.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.

(Day 730) Swords of Iron – “Two Years”

Chaim starts by saying that it’s been a great privilege for him to be mobilized in his IDF reserve unit, to serve with the elite Yahalom Combat Engineers for Special Missions, demolishing Hamas tunnels and doing various other specialized tasks that the regular units aren’t trained to do. He is also the CEO of the Aliyah Return Center and the Faithful Galileans, two non-profits that work to help new immigrants to Israel as well as fight the information battles.

(Day 729) Swords of Iron – “Permanent Ceasefire?!”

Chaim says that he’s glad that President Trump put pressure on Hamas and they gave a sort of “half yes” to the plan he put forward to end this war, including the return of the hostages. This gives hope that this war is almost over, but Chaim says the Israeli leadership is being very cautious, ordering the IDF to stay on high alert against the possibility that there will be any more terror attacks or other problems.
