ARC Israel Updates

Receive the latest news and updates on life on the ground in Israel, behind the scenes, and from the front lines!

Day 279 – Through till victory

Chaim starts by saying that the sun is setting but his day is just getting started as a military drone can be heard overhead. He says one seldom gets a good night’s sleep in the IDF as one must stay up at night and keep watch to make sure the terrorists don’t strike the civilians as they like to do.

Day 278 – Not Timid

Chaim starts out the video by showing his viewers a bomb shelter that people will go into in the event of rocket attacks. He says that this is typical in Israel, unlike many of the countries his viewers are probably watching the video in.

Day 277 – Inheritance

Chaim starts out the video by showing us scenes from all over Gaza, with the captions asking a rhetorical question about how far one must be willing to go, day after day, through all kinds of uncomfortable (and worse) situations, to attain the goal.

Day 276 – Weekends when at home from the front

Chaim begins the video by declaring that little by little, the IDF is clearing Gaza of Hamas and destroying its capability to threaten Israel. He adds, however, that the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen are threatening to attack Saudi airports if the Kingdom dares to normalize relations with Israel. Apparently, the Houthis and their Iranian masters don’t want anyone trying to build a better future for the people in the Middle East, they’d rather everyone just continue down the path of hatred and violence that they’re most comfortable with.

Day 275 – Courage

Chaim begins the video by pointing out a large number of rocket strikes into northern Israel from Lebanese territory over the past 24 hours. The rockets are being fired by the Iranian-backed Shi’ite terror militia Hezbollah, which is illegally occupying southern Lebanon and breaking numerous international laws by firing weapons into Israel.

Day 274 – Future

The first half of the video is just scenes of devastation in Gaza as Chaim and his comrades drive through the landscape. At one point there is a scene of endless columns of trucks carrying humanitarian aid for the residents of the Strip.

Day 273 – Your light has come

Chaim starts by pointing to the entrance to a Hamas terror tunnel that his Ya’alom combat engineering unit is about to demolish and declares to the Hamas terrorists who built it that “your judgment day has come.”

Day 272 – Liberty and Freedom

Chaim starts by paraphrasing the opening of the US Declaration of Independence, saying that there comes a time in every human being’s life when they have to decide where they stand, and he asks his viewers to stand with Israel now.

Day 271 – On High Alert

Chaim starts the video by saying that it’s day 271 of this war and he’s been doing a video update every day of this war. He says he hopes that his viewers are sharing the videos because it’s so important to try and get the truth out since there are so many lies and distortions being spread about Israel and what’s going on.
He gives as an example a stabbing attack that happened in broad daylight at a shopping mall in Karmiel, a town in northern Israel not too far from where Chaim lives in the Galilee. The two young soldiers who were stabbed were able to fight back and killed their attacker, but one of these soldiers later succumbed to his wounds and died.

Day 270 – Lessons Learned

Chaim starts out the video by mentioning that he’s standing in front of an olive tree and then giving some examples of what the Olive Tree represents in various Biblical passages. He says that the olive branch was a symbol of peace from the story of Noah and the Ark in Genesis chapters 6-8. The olive tree is also a symbol of the grafting of God’s people together in the same Covenant relationship with Him, as explained in Romans 11:16-18; For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches.
