Update (Day 975) Swords of Iron “Duty to Defend”

When, in the course of human events, darkness rises, there are those who do not wait for permission. They stand up. They speak. They become the Light others can follow.

In this time, we are deeply saddened by the attacks in central Israel. Reports speak of several injured and one killed across three separate shooting incidents near Kokhav Yair, Tzur Yitzhak / Tzur Natan, and Sal’it. My heart goes out to the families affected. These are painful moments, and we must be strong.

At the same time, Israel’s ability to strike terror infrastructure in Lebanon continues to grow. We will continue removing threats wherever they hide—including in Beirut and across enemy strongholds. Israel cannot allow Hezbollah, Iran, or any proxy to threaten our people and then hide behind borders, buildings, or propaganda.

Iranian state media has reportedly convened an emergency session after Israeli strikes in Beirut. Their broadcasts are now threatening Judea and Samaria, speaking of “Operation True Promise 5” being on standby and telling people to look to the night sky.

So we stay alert. We stay ready.

Throughout this war, we have had to put everything on the line to defend this country, and we will continue to do so. We remember the promises of God, and we remember that fear does not get the final word.

Isaiah 43 says: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you… When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”

That is our strength. That is our hope.
