Update (Day 978) Swords of Iron “That’s It”

What a roller coaster.

One minute it feels like a deal may happen—a bad deal that would make all this effort to stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions and ballistic missile program feel wasted. Then President Trump says he may strike Iran in ways they have never experienced before, targeting power plants, bridges, and critical infrastructure if they keep escalating.

Iran should listen. They really should.

Something seemed to shift after the Apache helicopter incident I spoke about yesterday. President Trump said an Iranian drone lodged between the two pilots, caught fire, but thankfully did not explode. The pilots survived, but the helicopter crashed. That is unacceptable.

We love the people of Iran, but the regime leading them is dangerous and reckless.

Iran has fired missiles from Markazi Province toward U.S. bases in Jordan. Fragments have also been found across Judea and Samaria, including near Jericho. This is not normal. This is not something Israel, America, or the free world can simply tolerate.

And Hezbollah keeps firing missiles and drones into Israel. IDF forces continue finding weapons hidden in civilian areas—inside homes, storefronts, schools, kindergartens, and even in a baby’s crib. Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank missiles, grenade launchers, missile launchers, magazines, grenades, and communication devices have been discovered in villages north of the Litani River. So much for the idea that reaching the Litani would be enough.

This is why Israel must continue operating in southern Lebanon. We cannot live with missiles over our heads.

The Iranian people need to rise up. There is no reason for an entire nation of nearly 90 million people to suffer because of a radical regime and the IRGC. But if that regime continues pushing the world toward war, the consequences will be devastating.

Trump appears done playing games. If Iran does not make a major move toward surrendering its terror ambitions, things could heat up fast between Iran and the United States.

Israel may have to face Iran alone, bearing the cost of military supplies, global isolation, and difficult decisions. We do not want that. But we will do what we must.

The West still struggles to understand what we are facing. This is not only about one leader. It is an ideology. It is a system of brainwashing that fuels Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and the IRGC. Until it is stopped, it will not stop itself.

Isaiah 41:10–14 speaks directly to this moment: “Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you… Those who war against you shall be as nothing.”

Israel may be small—“you worm Jacob,” as the prophet says—but the Lord promises: “I will help you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Fear not. God is with Israel.
