ARC Israel Updates

Day 210 Swords of Iron – “Not Fairweather”

Chaim starts out the video by informing his viewers that Holocaust Remembrance Day is coming up in Israel and the Aliyah Return Center will be holding an online event. He invites his viewers to participate in that, and then switches to talking about current events.

He says that these are dark times we’re living in, comparable to the dark day of the Holocaust. He says that every room at the Aliyah Return Center is named for a hero who stood up during those dark times, including Corrie Ten Boom, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and others, so that people staying in those rooms would be reminded of what’s needed to get through dark times.

Chaim says that it’s never been more important to stand up for righteousness and truth, with so many lies about Israel and the war we’re fighting against the terrorism of Hamas being repeated endlessly all over the world.

He quotes Jeremiah 31:3; The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Next he mentions Ezekial 36 which talks about the aliyah waves that are happening right now, adding that God is indeed drawing the Jewish people to their Land and also to Himself.

But, he says, human beings still need to stand for righteousness and against lies, and he rhetorically asks what will be said of us when it’s all over and we’ve passed on, whether it will be said of us that we caved in to the darkness or stood up to it.

He thanks his viewers for all they’ve done to support the ARC and Israel in general, and he concludes by counting the Omer for day 10.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
