Day 262 Swords of Iron – Vigilance
Chaim begins the video by advising his viewers to “stay vigilant” before switching the scene to more views of the IDF in action in the Gaza Strip and Chaim saying that these are times of testing and hardship, but he urges his viewers to remain vigilant and be guided by the wisdom of God at this time. In this context, he quotes Ezekial 33:6; But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’
He also quotes Proverbs 4:23; Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
He says that in hard times such as Israel is facing now, courage is required to stand strong and not give up.
He mentions the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps general who is threatening a harsh response if Israel dares to launch a strike on Hezbollah to push it away from the Israeli border. The US is sending mixed signals about what it’s position would be in the event of a war between Israel and Iran.
Chaim also mentions some of the internal battles that threaten to tear Israel apart, including a High Court of Justice ruling today that the Ultra-Orthodox are no longer exempt from being drafted into the IDF. The government was dragging its feet on the issue for months and the High Court finally ended the debate, at least legally. It remains unclear what will happen next.
But Chaim says that this is God’s plan for Israel and it should go forward, and he quotes Psalms 92:8-9 But You, Lord, are on high forevermore. For behold, Your enemies, O Lord, for behold, Your enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
Chaim concludes by saying that we must trust in these words and the plans and purposes God has for Israel and for our own lives.
