Day 541 Swords of Iron – “The Rising Tide”

Chaim starts by pointing out that when a ballistic missile is fired at Israel, even if it gets intercepted and the warhead doesn’t hit us, there is often shrapnel and debris from the explosion that rains down on Israeli cities. On Sunday, that included a piece of shrapnel that landed in a Jerusalem schoolyard and in private homes and businesses in several other cities all over the country, but miraculously, no one was hurt.

Next he talks about the protests by Gazan residents against Hamas, which it’s hard to know what the real story is, but just the fact that they’re happening is causing some dynamics to shift in Israel’s favor. Chaim also talks about how Hamas is putting out videos of hostages in which they’re reciting scripted lines blaming the Israeli government for their continued captivity.

In other developments, things are once again possibly heating up on the northern border as rockets have been fired into Israel from Lebanese territory and the IDF hit Hezbollah targets in response. The US is negotiating with Hamas for the release of US citizens that are being held hostage in Gaza. The US is also cancelling the visas of people who are in the US, often on student visas while they are enrolled at American universities, but protesting against Israel and even the United States itself. The US is also deploying strategic bombers to the region in an obvious preparation for strikes on Iran, which is a dramatic change in policy. Chaim notes that in the past, US President’s treaded carefully in relations with Iran, but President Trump is openly and unapologetically getting much tougher on them.

Chaim acknowledges that a war of that magnitude will have some very scary implications and possible fallout, but Chaim says that Israel is not afraid to move forward with this.

In this context, Chaim quotes Amos 9:12; That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” says the Lord who does this thing.

Edom of course is the ancient name for Iran, and Chaim says that Israel knows God will give us the complete victory over Iran and all its terror proxies.

The video concludes with an appeal for viewers to support the work of the Aliyah Return Center.
