(Day 705) Swords of Iron – “Righteous Indignation”
Chaim starts by talking about how Israel’s cause is just, and this is a war of self-defense. Israel is taking the fight to Hamas in Gaza City, demolishing the high-rise buildings Hamas wants to use as “the high ground” in the coming battle.
He also talks about some of the Jewish commentary on the topic of Blood Moons, which says that when you see a Blood Moon you can be sure that a sword is coming on the earth.
He also talks about some of the setbacks Israel has suffered recently, including the Houthi drone which hit the Ramon Airport north of Eilat, the terror attack in Jerusalem and the four IDF soldiers who were killed in action this past week.
However, despite these setbacks, Israel is continuing to press forward and Chaim says that the efforts to recognize a Palestinian State will do absolutely nothing to bring a lasting solution closer. Hde gives some historical examples of when the Palestinians had political soveriegnty and/or cultural and economic dominance in the Levant and they were not satisfied with it, nor were they ready to live in peace with their Jewish neighbors, or any of their other neighbors. Everywhere you look in the Middle East you see intercommunal violence and hate, and it was like that long before the Jews established their own State.
There are also threats coming from the remnants of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and even Iran is threatening to launch another attack on Israel calling it “True Promise 3” and Chaim says he’s got a “true promise” for Iran and he says it comes from Isaiah 66:12-15; For thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. Then you shall feed; On her sides shall you be carried,
And be dandled on her knees. As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you;
And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.” When you see this, your heart shall rejoice,
And your bones shall flourish like grass; The hand of the Lord shall be known to His servants, and His indignation to His enemies. For behold, the Lord will come with fire
And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
