(Day 768) Swords of Iron – “Culmination, as we dismantle terror Infrastructure”
Chaim starts by pointing out that Veterans Day was just marked in the U.S. and he wonders aloud if people really understand what soldiers do and what they sacrifice and endure on battlefields. He then begins to list some of the work the IDF is doing in the current days, including after the ceasefire, finding and demolishing tunnels packed full of weapons and ammunition that Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon intended to use against Israel.
There’s also many other things in these tunnels, including booby traps that Hamas and Hezbollah left there in order to make it more dangerous and difficult for the IDF to follow them down into these tunnels. But Chaim and his comrades are not deterred by these booby traps, they’re going into these tunnels and getting the job done.
Chaim says he wants to thank all the soldiers who fought in this war and are still serving in various capacities to protect freedom, not only in Israel but around the world.
In the meantime, Chaim also mentions the letter President Trump sent to Israeli President Isaac Herzog asking him to pardon Prime Minister Netanyahu. Chaim asks his viewers to leave a comment about what they think of this development.
Meanwhile, the IDF, Border Police, and Shin Bet are also continuing to crack down on terror plots in Judea and Samaria, including an operation this week which saw 40 individuals arrested in Bethlehem, just south of Jerusalem.
Back in Gaza, Hamas continues to violate the ceasefire but Israel is still allowing large shipments of humanitarian aid into the Strip. Hamas says they found the remains of another hostage and will soon release these remains to Israel. Chaim says he’s very interested to find out who it is.
Also this week, Syria’s interim President Abu Muhammed Al-Jolani visited the White House, accusing Israel of being ‘expansionist” by keeping control of the buffer zone south of Damascus. But he also said he’s in direct talks with Israel, so we’ll have to see where things go in this arena.
Chaim concludes by saying these are amazing times to be living in and he quotes Joshua 1:9; “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
