(Day 799) Swords of Iron – “Massacre on Jews celebrating Hanukkah”

it’s hard to believe that things have come to this, with a mass terror attack and hate crime in Sydney, Australia. Dozens of Jewish people who were just trying to have a Hanukkah party on the Bondi Beach were gunned down, with at least 14 losing their lives and many more wounded. The wounded include police officers and also a passerby who bravely jumped one of the shooters and disarmed him, suffering several gunshot wounds himself in the process. Chaim says that this is a developing situation and he asks his viewers to pray for the victims.

Chaim also mentions the mass shooting at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, which targetted a class being taught by a Jewish professor. Chaim says that it’s horrible to think that this is the world we live in, where these kinds of violent incidents are becoming more common. But he concludes by saying that we must stand strong together in prayer and in effort, and he wishes his viewers happy Hanukkah.
