Update (Day 945) Swords of Iron “No Reasoning With Them”

Our northern border is under fire from Hezbollah. After Israel eliminated one of their commanders, this terrorist group began shelling communities in northern Israel. Families are hunkering down in bomb shelters. This is the reality our people face.

Meanwhile, the Gulf is heating up again. Iran’s Bahman Pier on Qeshm Island is reportedly under attack, with Iranian media describing an exchange of fire between Iranian forces and “the enemy.” The UAE is involved after Iran launched missiles toward the Fujairah port. Iranian air defenses have been activated near Bandar Abbas as explosions are heard.

The United States has also struck Iranian targets, though the Pentagon is describing the situation as limited and not a full ceasefire violation. Trump reportedly called the warning strike a “love tap.” Still, the message is clear: if Iran does not sign a permanent deal soon, the next response could be much harder.

Project Freedom continues—the U.S. escort mission through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump says three American destroyers successfully exited the strait under fire, with no damage and no casualties. Iranian attack boats were destroyed, drones were taken down, and America is calling the naval blockade a “wall of steel.”

Trump has made it clear: Iran will not be allowed to become a nuclear power. Iran claims it can move from 60% enrichment to weapons-grade levels quickly, possibly enough for multiple bombs. The answer from Israel, America, and the West must be simple: absolutely not.

Iran must never be allowed to build nuclear weapons.

At the same time, Israel continues building and strengthening Judea and Samaria. A major bypass road and bridge near Jerusalem could support future development and help connect communities. Jews come from Judea—that’s where the word “Jew” comes from—and we should be able to live there freely.

But Israel cannot ignore the threats on its borders. Hezbollah drones continue targeting our troops and civilians. These attack drones are dangerous, sometimes arriving without proper warning. A school was recently hit during maintenance, and residents continue hearing explosions near their communities.

Trump had hoped to bring Lebanon and Israel to talks in Washington, but Lebanon canceled. So the warning remains: Iran and its proxies should not test the free world.

American forces remain heavily deployed in the region, including destroyers like the USS Truxtun, USS Rafael Peralta, and USS Mason. The message is clear: the strait will remain open, and Iran will not be allowed to dictate terms.

In Gaza, Israel continues dismantling Hamas terror infrastructure. Yahalom and other units have destroyed eight more tunnels under Rafah, preventing Hamas from rebuilding its murderous network.

As Shabbat begins, the question is simple: when will these enemies make the right choice and stop attacking Israel?

Zechariah 2:8 says, “Whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye.” To attack Israel is to poke the eye of God.
