Chaim starts by saying that Israel and the whole world are holding their breath, waiting to see if Hamas will release the hostages like they are supposed to under the cease-fire agreement. He also mentions that a rocket was fired from Gaza at Israeli territory, but it landed inside Gaza, which just shows that evil always rolls back on itself.
He also mentions a statement by an official in the UAE who said that the Arab States might be talking about an alternative to the plan put forward by US President Donald Trump, but actually there is no better alternative.
Chaim says that Hamas might be pretending that they’re winning but the truth is obvious for all to see and he is sure they will in fact release the hostages as the agreement dictates. But if they don’t, the IDF will go back to full operational tempo and Hamas will have to deal with that.
Chaim says that Hamas is trying to regroup and talking real tough, but again, the truth is there for all to see. They’re not very popular with the Palestinian people right now and that’s just going to get more and more apparent going forward. There are plans to rebuild the Strip but Chaim says those plans can only go forward if the people living there are ready to live in peace with Israel.
In this context, he quotes, Jeremiah 30:16; ‘Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; Those who plunder you shall become plunder, and all who prey upon you I will make a prey. For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.” ’
