(Day 712) Swords of Iron – “Patriotism”

Chaim starts by telling his viewers that he’s in Jerusalem and he has just seen a ballistic missile fired at Israel by the Houthis in Yemen flying across the sky before it was intercepted by the IDF air defense units.

He says that he’s glad he lives in a country that is united and determined to protect and defend its own, to rescue those who have been kidnapped and taken hostage, etc. 

Speaking of which, about 5,000 Gazans have left the Strip and Chaim believes they should all leave until it can be cleaned up and rebuilt and Hamas has been completely removed and then the people can come back. He adds that right now, two IDF divisions are advancing under strong air support, steadily pushing Hamas back and taking control of more areas in Gaza City.

The American administration is fully committed and on board, and Chaim asks his viewers to pray both for the American and Israeli governments. He says that the US State Department has just designated several terrorist groups in Iraq that have threatened to target Jews worldwide.

At the same time, Israel is being pressured to withdraw from the Eurovision song competition, and it’s one of many indications that Israel is being targeted for discrimination in many forums. 

Another example is Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef who unapologetically admitted to lying about Israel being responsible for the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Finally, he concludes by saying he’s glad to see Fiji becoming the 7th country to open an embassy in Jerusalem and he says many more are coming and Israel will prevail because God is with us. In this context, he quotes Deuteronomy 31:6; Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
