Seventy seven delegations reportedly walked out on our prime minister at the United Nations. He spoke anyway. When the nations rage against Israel, the answer is not a quieter speech.
Seventy Seven Walkouts and One Microphone
Benjamin Netanyahu called them out from the podium, and he was right to.
These are institutions that seem determined to oppose Israel defending itself at all. Not the way we fight. The fact that we fight back at all.
Some Jewish people are confused about this too, and I understand why. The pressure is enormous and it is coordinated.
But an empty room is not a verdict. It is a photograph.
The Abraham Accords Keep Growing Anyway
While the nations rage against Israel in one room, something very different was happening in another.
The Abraham Accords partners are drawing closer together again. The UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, the United States, and now Kazakhstan moving toward regional cooperation.
That is what peace actually looks like. Not a resolution. Business, flights, students, water technology, signatures that mean something.
That is what I want with my neighbors. Opportunities to live together, work together and build something our grandchildren will inherit.
When the Nations Rage Against Israel in a Stadium
Ireland is wearing black armbands for today’s match against Israel. Fine. Nobody can stop them.
But let us remember October 7. The victims. The hostages. The sexual violence that some of these same voices have never once acknowledged.
Compassion cannot be selective. The moment it becomes selective it stops being compassion and becomes a position.
Israeli victims deserve compassion too, and they are still waiting for a great deal of it.
Do Not Romanticize a Convicted Murderer
There are calls in Congress to release Marwan Barghouti, who is serving five life sentences after being convicted of murder.
I believe in peace. I believe in living together. I have said that in every one of these updates.
I also refuse to romanticize a man convicted on five counts of murder. Those five sentences represent five families.
A peace process built on erasing victims is not a peace process. It is a rebrand.
The Dutch Ban That Hurts Palestinian Workers
The Netherlands is banning goods from Judea and Samaria with serious penalties for selling them.
That is the heartland of Israel. It is where so much of the Bible actually happened, and the word Jew itself comes from Judah.
Now ask a practical question. Who loses a paycheck when a factory there closes?
Palestinian and Arab workers who earn Israeli wages alongside Israeli colleagues. Political pressure keeps landing hardest on the exact people it claims to be helping. When the nations rage against Israel, Palestinian workers pay part of the bill.
When the Nations Rage Against Israel at the Airport
Israeli travelers reportedly faced a canceled flight after landing permission was denied for what looks like political reasons.
Think about where that road goes. Are Israelis eventually going to be told they simply cannot land somewhere?
A passport that gets refused for politics is not a travel story. It is a warning.
Nations Rage Against Israel, and Not Only Israel
I am watching the situation at RAF Fairford, where five men were reportedly arrested on suspicion involving explosives.
I work with explosives. I know exactly how serious that is, and I am grateful for the bomb disposal and counter terror teams standing between civilians and people like that.
In Yemen, Saudi forces and the Houthis keep exchanging attacks. Iranian backed groups are threatening far more than Israel.
When you let the neighborhood bully keep bullying, it never stops with the Jews. Christians and the free world are on that list too.
Two Years Since Nasrallah
It has now been two years since Nasrallah was eliminated.
That was a real achievement. But the honest measure of success is much simpler than a headline.
Can our families live safely on the northern border? Can people move home and sleep through the night?
Until that answer is yes, the job is not finished. We cannot simply pack up and walk away from the north because the nations rage against Israel in a conference hall.
Iran, Foreign Money and Hard Questions
Trump reportedly rejected Iran’s latest proposal, and renewed strikes remain possible. I am watching that carefully.
We also have to examine foreign funding and influence honestly. Religious freedom has to be protected without exception.
At the same time, organizations credibly accused of supporting terrorism need to be investigated thoroughly. Those two things are not in conflict.
Why the Nations Rage Against Israel
Psalm 2 asks the question better than I can. Why do the nations rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
It is an old question. The psalm was written by people who had already watched empires line up against them and lose.
The nations rage against Israel, and God remains sovereign over all of it.
So I stand with Zion. I stand for Israel. And I pray that we will see real peace without ever surrendering the truth to get it.
