Day 239 Swords of Iron – “Mob Chants?!”

Chaim starts the video by saying that decisions are being made that affect the future of our families, our communities and our countries, even our entire world. He cites as examples the choice by Spain, Ireland, and Norway to recognize a Palestinian State, as well as the pursuit of arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Chaim acknowledges that the ICC is also seeking arrest warrants against Hamas leaders, but says it is frustrating that this comparison is being made between Israeli leaders and Hamas leaders.

He also cites the examples of the mobs on university campuses and similar venues which are chanting terrible anti-Semitic slogans, often not even knowing what the words they’re chanting mean. But they’re making a choice to stand against the God of the Bible, and that choice has consequences.

Chaim also reminds us of the choice that an angry mob in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago made, to have Pontius Pilate release a murderous criminal named Barabas instead of Jesus, who Pilate and the crowd knew was innocent. That choice also had consequences, and we’re all dealing with the fallout from it down to this very day.

Chaim says that Israel is not perfect as Jesus was, but it’s just an ordinary democracy trying to simply live and mind its own business, while Hamas is a murderous terrorist entity comparable to Barabas.

Mobs around the world are chanting their support for the murderous terrorists and their condemnation of Israel, and this will have consequences.

Chaim quotes Psalm 2:1-3; Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.”

He says that Israel is being blamed and condemned by the nations of the world, and he asks his viewers what choices they will make in this situation.
