Day 185

Chaim starts by wondering aloud who would have ever thought we’d be living through such times, with the US and Israel going on high alert for a possible war with Iran. The Iranian websites are saying there are four possible responses they might make for a recent airstrike, widely attributed to Israel, which killed several senior IRGC generals and other terrorist leaders at a meeting they were having in a building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

The first scenario is a display of Iran’s ballistic missile capability in a direct attack against Israel

The second is an attack on a US or Israeli embassy in the region.

The third is a drone strike on Israel’s electrical power grid or some other kind of strategic target.

The fourth possibility is that they’ll step up psychological warfare and/or activate sleeper cells or terror groups inside Israel.

Chaim says it’s difficult to know what they’ll do, but all over the world the US and Israeli dpilomatic, intelligence and security apparatus is on high alert, poised to respond to whatever Iran does next.

So Chaim encourages his viewers to come together in prayer at this time, using as a guide Isaiah 41: 13-14; For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ “Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Next Chaim talks about the negotiations that are ongoing in Cairo to try and get the remaining Israeli hostages released. The Americans seem optomistic but Hamas has flatly rejected several proposals and are sticking to their maxamalist demands that the war come to an immediate end, hundreds of their security prisoners be released in exchange for Israeli hostages and Israel forfeit all its battlefield victories.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is insisting that he will stay the course and has said there is a date set for the entry of the IDF into Rafah to eliminate the remaining Hamas battalions.

The situation is very unclear, but Chaim says he will keep his viewers updated on new developments going forwards.

The video concludes with some IDF soldiers saying thank you to the Aliyah Return Center for providing ballistic helmets for them to wear into battle.
