Chaim starts the video by saying how glad he is to share the news that four Israeli hostages have been rescued and reunited with their loved ones.
He says that he and many other IDF soldiers have been up all night preparing for this mission, carrying it out and then dealing with the aftermath, but it’s all worth it. He says that many people have given up hope of getting these hostages back alive, but the hostages themselves didn’t give up and no one else should either.
Chaim rhetorically asks his viewers if they believe in the power of prayer and in miracles, and he quotes Jeremiah 31:16-17; Thus says the Lord: “Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; For your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy. There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border.
He next tells his viewers that these four hostages seem to be in good physical condition and he also mentions this sorrow at the passing of an IDF soldier who was severely wounded in the operation and later died of his wounds.
But he says it gives all of the IDF soldiers renewed courage and determination to continue the mission, and he says that even as the Hamas terrorists failed miserably in their battle with the IDF to try and keep these hostages, the IDF is also continuing to destroy terror tunnels and eliminate the terrorists themselves, wherever they find them.
He mentions that the IDF has full control of the Philidelphia Corridor, which is the border between Egypt and Gaza, and otherwise, the IDF has Hamas surrounded and so the military victory over them is close. But another, much bigger conflict with Hezbollah is also looming very close, and that situation needs urgent prayer.
But for now, Chaim says he’s taking a moment to savor the wonderful feeling of bringing these hostages home alive, and he quotes Psalms 32:7; You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah to make the point about God preserving these hostages and bringing them home safely.
The video concludes with Chaim showing how he used a drill donated by ARC supporters to change out a spare tire on an IDF vehicle quickly, which is much better than having to do it manually.
